WIEBKE-DOROTHEA BURMESTER​​

Following her banking apprenticeship, Wiebke Burmester completed her business studies in Germany and England with a double degree.

After working for the global pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline in finance and controlling in Germany and abroad for 5 years, she was responsible for the implementation and further development of the EMEA-wide compliance management system at the medical technology company Olympus for the following 11 years.

Her experience includes money laundering, anti-corruption, due diligence, KYC, data protection, antitrust, export control and internal control systems.

Since the foundation of Upwind Legal in September 2021, Wiebke Burmester supports the firm as Business Support Manager.
